Consecutive Pair of U.S. Property marked Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammerless Semi-Automatic Pistols, #563688 & #563689, .32 ACP cal., 3.75'' barrels, parkerized finish, factory checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, each with an original blue-bodied factory magazine marked ''Cal.32/Colt'' to base. In modern-made fitted case, with two (2) extra mags and cardboard box pencil numbered to the box. Right side of frames marked ''U.S. Property'', with English ''BNP'' (British Nitro-Proof) markings to frames and slides; barrels are identically marked ''(crown)/BNP/.32-.675/12 Tons Per Sq''''. Includes both factory letters stating shipped to U.S. Gov't, Port Transportation Officer, New York Port of Embarkation, Brooklyn, NY, Dec. 4, 1944, 2000 guns in shipment. Condition is excellent. Pistols appear new and unfired and show only the lightest marks from handling. Small format Ordnance wheel is clearly stamped through the finish on left rear portion of frames. Grips to both pistols with mild flattening from handling. Actions are crisp, bores are bright. Contemporary walnut case is excellent.
